As amazing as my surgeon and his bariatric practice was, I still had so many questions about the mindset part of this journey. Working with Haley increased my confidence tremendously when it came to understanding and putting into practice mindful eating, how to meal plan, and strategies to overcome emotional eating.

Undergoing VSG can be a very difficult and confusing journey. As incredible as it is, I personally did not find much support once I went through the actual surgery. I was so lost. I was hesitant to seek help from Haley at first because the internet is scary, but something in my gut told me to give her a chance and man, am I glad I did. Haley is amazing, she is one of the most caring and skilled dietitians I have ever worked with and she helped me so so much. She is worth every penny and she is such a blessing. She eased the stress and confusion of this process tremendously and taught me so much to conquer this journey with. Aside from her knowledge she is an amazing person and always puts a smile on your face. Thank you Haley for everything!

I could not be happier with the investment I made to work with Haley! After having VSG surgery 3.5 years ago, I had about 20 lbs of regain and felt like a failure. I didn’t think my surgeon’s office was providing the best support so I signed up to work with Haley as a one-on-one coach. I had NO IDEA how much I would learn from it! In my 6 months with Haley, I learned more than I did over the last 3 years with my surgeon. Haley takes the time to TEACH you, to support you, and to invest in you! I am ending one-on-one coaching having lost almost all of my regain (which is awesome), but honestly that isn’t even the best part. The best part is that I am now able to give myself grace. I no longer panic when the scale goes up a pound or stays the same, or when I eat a meal that I know doesn’t follow the guidelines, or if I can only get in 30 minutes of exercise in a week because my schedule is crazy busy. No, one “off-track meal” doesn’t mean the whole day is ruined, and yes, all exercise counts, even if it feels easy! And just because the scale stays the same for a few weeks, doesn’t mean what you’re doing isn’t working. This is about the long-game, and it's so easy to forget that. I feel Haley has given me the tools and knowledge to really live, freely, and I am making healthier choices because of it. If you are considering working with Haley, do it! You might be surprised at how much you needed her. I know I was!
